On March 19, 2024, Lamborghini Ho Chi Minh unveiled the Revuelto, the marque’s inaugural V12 hybrid HPEV supercar, marking its debut in Vietnam. Amidst the palpable excitement of the attendees, the Revuelto made its grand entrance into the Vietnamese automotive scene, evoking a wave of awe and admiration among the brand’s enthusiasts.

S&S Automotive has forged a strong alliance with Lamborghini, marked by a series of triumphant ventures. These include the October 2022 debut of the Huracan Tecnica, the March 2023 launch of the Urus Performante SUV, and the inauguration of Vietnam’s premier Lamborghini showroom in December 2023. Building on this momentum, S&S Automotive recently made headlines by introducing the Revuelto, Lamborghini’s pioneering hybrid sports car, to the Vietnamese market in 2024. Automobili Lamborghini’s CEO, Mr. Stephan Winkelmann, heralded the Revuelto as a “landmark in Lamborghini’s legacy.” The vehicle garnered acclaim from the esteemed attendees, who were privileged to witness and interact with it firsthand.

At the Revuelto launch event, Francesco Scardaoni, the Asia Pacific Director for Automobili Lamborghini, proudly presented the company’s unprecedented achievements from the past year. These accomplishments included surpassing the delivery of 10,000 vehicles to customers for the first time in Lamborghini’s history, achieving a record-breaking operating margin of 27.2%, generating revenues of €2.66 billion, and reaching an operating result that exceeded the €700 million mark for the first time.

Lamborghini has been focusing on sustainable development and shared its plans to electrify its entire product range. The car company has announced that it aims to complete the full electrification process by the end of 2030. According to Mr. Francesco Scardaoni, the brand's strategy will involve hybridising all vehicle models with different engines, including V8, V10, and V12. The V12 engine has been chosen to start the hybridisation journey, which will also serve as a steppingstone for the brand's overall electrification plan.

As promised, Lamborghini launched the Revuelto car globally on its 60th anniversary in 2023. In April 2024, the supercar model was introduced in Vietnam. The Revuelto car stays true to Lamborghini's heritage of iconic V12 engines, but it also incorporates hybrid technology to create a groundbreaking balance between delivering a complete driving experience for the owner and minimizing emissions. The hybrid model retains all the advantages of a traditional Lamborghini while also prioritizing environmental sustainability.

At the inaugural event for Lamborghini Ho Chi Minh City’s first showroom in December 2023, we pledged to present a vehicle that embodies a significant milestone for the brand. The Revuelto, with its robust V12 engine and iconic sound, now incorporates hybrid technology and significant enhancements to elevate the driving experience while promoting sustainable practices.”

The new Revuelto seamlessly integrates the engine, design, and technology, achieving performance figures that soar above its segment: a blistering 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 2.5 seconds, a swift 0-200 km/h sprint in under 7 seconds, and an exhilarating top speed exceeding 350 km/h. These impressive numbers harmonise with its exceptional dynamism, courtesy of the innovative electric torque vectoring system and the availability of four-wheel drive, even in fully-electric mode. The Revuelto super sports car effortlessly showcases its amplified qualities both on the track and during daily drives.

Revuelto possesses the highest performance figures in the segment

Not only does it stand out with its performance figures, but Revuelto is based on a new aeronautics-inspired chassis, the ‘monofuselage’, a monocoque made entirely of multi-technology carbon fibre. In fact, the Revuelto monofuselage is 10% lighter than the Aventador chassis, and the front frame is 20% lighter than its aluminum predecessor. On the other hand, the development of an eight-speed Double Clutch Transmission (DCT) is also a highlight of this model. The new DCT gearbox is lighter and faster in terms of shifting speed compared to the seven-speed double clutch unit that is used in the Huracán range. The transverse layout has also allowed for a more spacious cabin interior, creating more room behind the driver and passenger to improve comfort.

Besides, Bridgestone's Potenza Sport tires also enhance the driving experience. The run-flat technology supports drivers to continue driving safely even after a puncture; for at least 80km at 80kph with 0-bar pressure for drivers additional peace of mind.

Regarding design language, Revuelto opens a space race inspired by aerospace elements, giving the driver "the feeling of a pilot." While the inspiration from previous V12 legends is still clear, Revuelto delivers a quantum leap in an all-new car design, both externally and internally, perfectly balanced with digital technologies and physical mechanics.

With Revuelto Lamborghini initiates a new immersive, shared driving experience, where pilot and co-pilot can simultaneously view the same information on the display located in the 12.3’’ digital cockpit on the driver’s side and on the 9.1’’ display installed on the passenger-side dashboard. The three digital screens not only respond to the need for stylistic cleanness that enabled most of the physical buttons to be eliminated, but implement new features that allow the driver to concentrate fully on driving, just as in a race car.
