On April 17, 2025, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ho Chi Minh officially launched the Ghost Series II for the first time in Vietnam. The event was held at Lotus Park, part of the Grand Marina, Saigon project developed by Masterise Homes, where heritage and future coexist in a shared space.

The Ghost Series II is the latest version of the Ghost line, one of the "masterpieces" synonymous with Rolls-Royce. First introduced in 2009, it immediately set new standards among enthusiasts. This masterpiece is designed to appeal to a new segment of luxury customers—younger, more dynamic, and seeking a more versatile car while retaining the brand's signature elegance.

Rolls-Royce has introduced various generations of the Ghost to meet the evolving needs of its customers. Recognizing the time for an upgrade, Rolls-Royce launched the Ghost Series II, a model that elevates the driving experience not only through its outstanding powertrain and modern monolithic exterior design but also through the exquisite craftsmanship in every interior detail.

Inspired by the philosophy of "Sheer Monolithic Beauty," the Ghost Series II showcases this in its front bumper design, where the entire surface offers seamless continuity, making the car appear as if sculpted from a single block of metal. The headlight and daytime running light graphics have been refined to emphasize the impressive width of 2148 mm. New chrome embellishments on the front create a luxurious pedestal for the Spirit of Ecstasy mascot, beneath which lies the illuminated Pantheon grille—an element of Rolls-Royce’s design iconography.

Under the long hood, the heart of the Ghost Series II is a twin-turbocharged V12 engine with a 6.75L capacity, producing 563 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. This provides powerful yet smooth and agile performance. The Planar Suspension System, incorporating a unique Upper Wishbone Damper unit above the front suspension assembly, offers a more stable driving experience, true to the brand's renowned "magic carpet ride" philosophy.

From the rear view, the Ghost Series II features a new tail lamp configuration, featuring two expressive, vertical light panels that harmonise the side and rear surfaces. The new 22-inch, 9-spoke wheels come in two design options: one fully- and one part-polished.

Inside, the Ghost Series II's interior offers a new expression of contemporary art, where technology and craftsmanship blend seamlessly. The new Clock Cabinet houses an up-lit, mirror-polished, solid stainless-steel Spirit of Ecstasy figurine. Experts have spent thousands of hours creating a special lighting sequence. On entering the motor car, the Spirit of Ecstasy is initially illuminated from below, as if she is being lit by a spotlight, before her stage lighting settles to a soft glow. Alongside this exquisite detail, and spanning the full width of the passenger side, is the Illuminated Fascia, inspired by the stars, capturing the motion of the night sky reminiscent of time-lapse celestial photography.

Completing the interior of the Ghost Series II is the Duality Twill, a new rayon fabric made from bamboo. Creating a full Duality Twill interior is a highly complex process incorporating up to 2.2 million stitches, 18 km of thread, and can take 20 hours to complete.

Moreover, the entertainment and connectivity features have been significantly upgraded in the Ghost Series II. Rear seat passengers can now connect up to two devices, stream independently on each screen, and enjoy integrated eSIM and USB-C charging ports, making every journey more complete.

The launch event for the Ghost Series II was held at Lotus Park, the heart of the Grand Marina, Saigon branded real estate project developed by Masterise Homes. Located by the Saigon River on the site of the renowned Ba Son shipyard, Grand Marina, Saigon boasts a prime location that not only preserves the memories of 200 years of Saigon's maritime history but also witnesses the city's magnificent transformation into a modern metropolis.

The Bassin de Radoub area, with its design reminiscent of the old Ba Son shipyard, provides an ideal backdrop to honor a mechanical masterpiece, where historical values and the future coexist in a shared space.

Present at the event were Ms. Tu Le, Chief Operating Officer of S&S Group, the official representative of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Vietnam, and Mr. Ivan Kang, Sales & Product Manager of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Asia-Pacific. Both shared insights into the story of the Ghost line and detailed the prominent upgrades of the Ghost Series II.
